As we continue to navigate unprecedented challenges in healthcare—nationally and here at home—supporting healthcare on Hawai‘i Island remains a top priority. This year’s conference theme, “Navigating Our Healthcare Future Together,” calls on healthcare professionals, social service providers, policymakers, government officials, and community organizations to come together for a powerful, one-day gathering focused on collaboration and innovation.

We invite you to submit a proposal to share your work, research, and ideas that can shape the future of healthcare in Hawai‘i.

Submission Deadline is Friday, May 30, 2025 at 5:00 PM HST

Proposal Guidelines

Why submit a proposal?

  • Share your work and insights with the community

  • Highlight impactful research and innovation

  • Engage with fellow professionals and local leaders

  • Help build a healthier, more connected future

Proposal formats may include:

  • Individual or organizational presentations

  • Collaborative sessions

  • Facilitated discussions

  • Interactive workshops

  • 60-minute presentation (may 45 minutes if more presentations are added to the agenda)

Reaching Underserved Communities

  • Breaking down barriers to care in rural and remote areas

  • Culturally grounded care that reflects community needs

  •  Inclusive strategies for historically overlooked populations

Innovating for Tomorrow’s Healthcare

  • Telehealth, mobile services, and digital health tools

  • New care models that integrate physical, mental, social health, etc.

  • Data-driven approaches to improve outcomes and decision-making

Strengthening Community Collaboration

  • Cross-sector partnerships (healthcare, education, nonprofits, etc.)

  • Peer support and community health workers

  • Co-designing services with patients and families

Building Resilient Health Systems

  • Community preparedness and public health response

  • Lessons learned from COVID-19 and other crises
