Increasing awareness. Improving health outcomes.
Know Your Numbers is an annual blood pressure awareness campaign focused on improving early detection and education across Hawaiʻi Island. Through community outreach and trusted partnerships, we provide access to screening, education, and tools that support long-term health.
For the Community.
Learn how to check your blood pressure, what your numbers mean, and connect to local resources. Many people don’t know they have high blood pressure—this campaign makes it easier to take that first step.
For Community Partners.
Support efforts to expand access to prevention and early detection. Together, we can reach more individuals and reduce the long-term impact of high blood pressure.
Why It Matters
High blood pressure puts you at risk for heart disease and stroke, which are the leading causes of death in the U.S. High blood pressure is often called “the silent killer” because most people don’t experience symptoms associated with it.
