Community First Hawai`i, in partnership with Hawai`i Community Foundation’s Stronger Hawai`i Fund, is helping our community recover from Hurricane Lala.
Flexible recovery support is available for individuals, families, and community organizations facing urgent health, social, and recovery needs.

Individual & Household Support
Supporting individuals and households with urgent needs tho help the recover and regain stability after Hurricane Lala.
Maximum Assistance $1,000
Support may include:
Essential household items
Transportation
Medical or health needs
Cleanup or minor repairs
Other urgent recovery needs
Important: Applications must be submitted on the individual’s behalf by a Navigator, Community Health Worker (CHW), Social Worker, or other care coordinator professional assisting with recovery
Organizational Support
Supporting organizations with the resources they need to continue helping communities recover from Hurricane Lala.
Maximum Assistance $5,000
Support may include:
Essential supplies
Recovery equipment
Cleanup materials
Health & safety supplies
Direct community support
Important: Organizations must provide a W-9 and be in good standing with DCCA.

APPLY > REVIEW > PAYMENT
APPLY - Submit a completed application along with the required documentation to info@communityfirsthawaii.org
REVIEW - Community First will review the request for eligibility and approval
PAYMENT - If approved, payment will be processed within (5) five business days.
